Masternick Memorial Health Care Center is accepting applications for full time Restorative Nurse Aide (STNA) positions to work flexible hours.



Restorative Nurse Aides provide direct care to nursing home residents, primarily for their activities of daily living, but also must include some medical care. Major responsibilities include (full job description will be reveiwed prior to/at time of offer):


  1. Assist resident to the physical therapy department.
  2. Required to transfer residents prior to performing various exercises with the resident. May utilize the assistance of another aide if necessary.
  3. Assist residents in all areas of the restorative program.
  4. Document progress of individual residents.
  5. Participates in programs to restore residents to their highest functioning level, including programs in hygiene, dressing, grooming, feeding, ambulation, toileting, transfer, range of motion, reality orientation and bowel and bladder training.
  6. May be required to carry out all duties and responsibilities of a nurse aide.



Must be state tested or have recent class completion. State certification required within four months of hire. Some experience as a nurse assistant prior to entering the restorative program is required.
