From our perspective, one of the most important things we can do is provide quality care for our residents, by nurturing all aspects of their health including their physical, spiritual and environmental needs.

Responsibilities

Windsor Estates Assisted Living is accepting applications for full time or part time Resident Attendants to work flexible shifts. Major responsibilities include (full job description will be reveiwed prior to/at time of offer):

  1. Assist residents with activities of daily living, to include, but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, and assisting, as needed, with dining services and activities. Occasionally will accompany residents on outings. Take meal trays to residents’ rooms when needed. Make residents’ beds. Assist with medications.
  2. Assist with all aspects of laundry, including but not limited to: washing, drying, ironing of tablecloths, residents personal clothing, bath and bed linens.
  3. Required to ensure cleanliness of facility, to include, but no limited to: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping, cleaning restrooms, bathtubs and showers after each use, foyers, hallways, living room, activity room, stairwell, porches (in season), beauty shop, laundry room, water fountains, washing windows, cleaning elevators, cleaning lounge, ash trays, picking up trash, wiping dining room chairs, baseboards, administrators office, utility room, any other cleaning assigned on an as needed basis.
  4. Promptly and expediently responds to residents call pendants. Utilizes stairways for promptness.

 

Qualifications

High school diploma and previous experience in direct care is preferred, but not required.
